Is this event a good fit for me?

If you are a service provider or even a product based business owner who has a desire to work with corporates in some capacity but needs the process on how to do it, then this event is for you. We have training workshops on corporate readiness and dealing with procrastination. You will be in a room of professionals and corporate decision makers.

Can you guarantee that I get a corporate contract?

Nope – we can’t do that as we don’t know what vacancies are available. Our job is to provide access, put you in a room to build relationships, to learn what it really takes to be corporate ready, to network with professionals and to leave with a plan of action on your next steps.

Will I be able to have one-to-one with the speakers?

The speakers are there for all of us. You will not be able to have a 1-2-1 meeting with the corporates unless this is arranged ahead of time through consultation. There is a meet the buyer opportunity that will take place post event.

Can I be a speaker at this event?

Unfortunately this is unlike other events where you can pitch to speak. We have hand selected all our speakers based on their experience with corporations and securing contracts without tendering.

Can I exhibit?

Yes if exhibition spots are still available, please visit the exhibitor page and follow the instructions there.

Why are there more male speakers than female?

Well here lies the problem. When we were recommended speakers for this event based on their experience, most recommendations were men in the field even when they came recommended by women. The event is here to help change that. Next year… let’s have more women speakers please!

How do I get to County Hall, Waterloo, London?

By underground:

Waterloo (Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern, Waterloo & City Line)

Exit the station via the Southbank exit and turn right towards the London Eye. Keep walking up York Road until you hit the crossroads at Chicheley Street and see the London Eye on you right. Continue at the crossroads along York Road past the Premier Inn. Walk past the Premier Inn and Forum Magnum Square will open up on your right. You will be able to see the entrance to the venue on the opposite side of the square. Walk across the square and across Belvedere Road with Starbucks on your right.

Westminster (Circle & District, Jubilee Line)

Exit the station via exits 1 & 2 and turn right up the steps onto Westminster Bridge. Walk across the bridge towards County Hall and the London Eye. At the end of the bridge continue straight on along the pavement. Go straight past the entrance to Marriott hotel walking to the corner of the building and turn left in to Belvedere Road. Continue along Belvedere Road which runs along the back of County Hall – the door to the venue is situated in the middle of the building opposite Forum Magnum Square.

By bus:

Routes RV1, 12, 53, 76, 77, 148, 159, 211, 453, and 507.

Will there be food at the event?

Yes. Start your day with energiser breakfast that includes an assortment of artisan breads, croissants, organic muesli and boiled egg & avocado. Then we have provided a 3 course buffet meal with meat, fish, vegan and halal options and in the late afternoon you get even more food!

What if I am late?

We would hope that you can come on time and stay for the entire time but we understand that things unexpected may arise. If that is the case, join us as soon as you can

Has this event been conducted in an environmentally and socially responsible manner?

Yes, we have chosen an eco-friendly venue with ample recycling stations. The venue is easily served by excellent transport links. We will not have any brochures that will reduce waste and carbon, instead we have an interactive and state of the art app

Do you provide refunds?

No, we don’t. Everything is allocated for and it’s our intention to bring you the very best experience.

What do I do if I am unable to attend?

We may at our discretion allow you to exchange your ticket and someone else comes in your place. You will need to inform Janine as soon as you can. Please note that we cannot accept any changes two days before the event
